New Friend

I am not much of a television watcher. But Saturday I made a new discovery. It was hulu.com. It is a site where there are many archived old television programs and movies. Now I will give away my age as I tell you my favorites television series; WKRP in Cincinnati, Mary Tyler Moore Show, I Dream of Jennie and Bewitched. Yeah, I am stuck in the '70s. I have been watching MTM from the first Episode of Season 1 with minimal advertisements that you can mute if you like.
Sailor went camping with the boy scouts on Friday night and I had dozens (well that is a bit of an exaggeration) of receiving blankets to make. At first I turned on the television, but there was nothing that appealed to me, not even on PBS. I only get antennae TV because I refuse to pay out money for 200 stations with nothing worth watching. So I set up my not-so-fast lap top with a wireless internet connection next to me at the sewing machine. Because it doesn't have any speakers, I put on the head phones and began to sew. Before I knew it the clock said it was 1 am. I was so surprised.
I think I have found a new sewing friend. Maybe I will get more accomplished in that department with MTM and the rest of the gang keeping me company.
yea!

That's really cool! I've been watching my netflix stuff a lot too. It's so convenient to have it downloaded to your computer. Granted, the stuff you can watch immediately isn't a big selection, but that's OK.

Hi Friend,
It was so great to hear you laughing to the oldies while you were sewing. They are nice shows. Real humor, genuinely funny, and innocent. No wonder you connect.
