Wow!!!! That is incredible!! And I just signed another 2-yr. contract with AT&T. Oh well my ccntract will be up for renewal again by the time the corporate types & their lawyers get done slugging it out! Thanks for the heads up!
yeah, I purposely HAVEN'T signed up again. Verizon kept forcing me to sign up for two more years when I changed something. So I have stayed on the same plan and continued to pay my $54 a month without a contract. I cannot understand why you would have to sign up for a contract, for instance when you go to all the expense of buying a new phone that only works with Verizon. After that expense, wouldn't you WANT to stay with them for a while? Personally I cannot see just how this would hurt me, the consumer, one bit if this did happen. Can you ?
