So Katie and Pixie tagged me-

Rules:

1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog. (Done.)
3. Tell about 6 quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same. (Get ready, folks.)

1.I have collected all 48 state's quarters, I have Alaska and Hawaii left. I have purchased $10.00 worth of each one. I got started late, so my sweet D1 (my oldest daughter) who worked at a retail store at the time watched for them and helped me get them. She actually did all the collecting. I just paid her for the quarters she had collected. *Thanks, sweet daughter.* When we got all caught up, this January, she started sending me a text and remind me to go to the bank to get the next ones that have been released. What a sweet daughter. The reason for the $10.00 is so I can give each grand child a set. I think they will get it when they turn a certain age. (to be determined) I have to find some little holders (not too expensive) into which to put them.

2. I consider my family to be my best friends. I love them all and if I had a choice, I would probably choose to spend my time with them, my sisters or my mom over anyone else. But my very best friend is my Husband. But really, if I had a choice, my family are the most important people in the world. I guess that is not a quirk, really. I just have seen so many people who don't get along with their family, and I feel so happy to love and be loved by them.

3. speaking of my husband, I would rather just grab my crocheting, knitting or stitching and sit outside in the shop with him while he works. I would rather skip everything else and just be beside him. My other projects usually get put on the back burner when he is home. Therefore, my house usually suffers, but I really don't care.

4. I have never been a great housekeeper. But I seem to be getting better. When I took the Keirsey test, I found out I was an ESFP. The P (Perceiver) has the ability to step over the mess in order to work on the latest project. They also have to ability (or flaw) to be able to start many projects and then when they get bored with them, put them away and start something else that is new and exciting. I have a room full of started projects, including a hooked rug I started when S2 was a baby and a sweater I started when D1 was a baby. Think of the guilt I have lived with all these years. Sorry kids. Funny thing. I LOVE doing laundry. I used to hang the diapers for my mom when I was a little girl, and I still just love to hang my wash outside.

5. speaking of personality tests, SP's have a need for speed, and I denied that, but secretly or maybe unconsciously, I found on my trips up north for choir, that it was fun to see how fast I could get that little Grand Am to perform. I never just set out to see, I would just find myself flying and would usually let up when I realized I was going so fast. But sometimes when I passed someone, I would put the pedal to the metal and just go. I always got nervous at 95 and never went higher. Now that we are hypermiling, I no longer make the speedometer go past 65, so you can all relax, children and husband. I don't own a cruise control, so I have to memorize where my foot is supposed to be in order to keep it there. I can do it too.

6. I hate cooking. I have always wondered why it is that the Lord made us so we would have to waste our time in the kitchen, if all it does is make you gain weight. I hate going on diets, because all you do is think about is what you can eat next. If I had my way, I would convert the kitchen into a workshop where I could craft. If left to my own devices, I get so caught up in my latest project, I forget to eat, all day, and when hubby comes home, he finds me all wiped out. He knows I am borderline hypoglycemic and he usually goes into the kitchen and fixes supper. I am amazed, almost every day that I feel so much better after I ate. heh heh. Oh and I HATE to exercise. And I have a terrible time stopping my project to go to bed, sleep seems such a waste of time as well. But I LOVE to sleep in when morning comes around. I am a night person.

You are the most fun person to be married to. I'm so glad we can share this life with each other.

Aw, what a sweet comment from Sailor.

This was a fun post Annie. Sometimes I get into a groove and forget to eat/cook and I also don't like to exercise. :)

I'll have to think of some quirky things about myself...I'm sure I've got something! ha ha!

I have too many quirks to name. I think my biggest quirk is that I *always* buy two of everything at the grocery store (except for spices). I have no idea why my grocery cart needs to be like Noah's Ark, but it is.

We're very similar, because numbers 2-5 I could have written for myself.

That was fun to read. :)
