S3 and his wife are brand new parents of a baby girl, born 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long on July 30th. We haven't gotten to see her yet but we got a photo. Mean while, Sailor is busy finishing the cradle, and I have to make a mattress, sheets and some receiving blankets.

That makes 11 grandchildren and one more to go this month. We will have had 4 born this summer. I've got busy kids. This makes 3 boys and the rest girls. I love 'em all.
There is no sweeter name than Grandma, well Grandpa is just as sweet.
She looks so much like her Dad. Wow that is weird to refer to my "baby" son as a Dad. ohmygosh she is cute. Can't wait to visit her in person.

She is absolutely precious! I just have to live vicariously through you for a while and soak up all those adorable baby pictures you post. She sounds like just the perfect size for a little girl.
