Miss Potter

Pixie Stylist rented a movie for me the other day. Miss Potter . It is a biography of Beatrix Potter, the author and artist of Peter Rabbit. I have always wanted to write and illustrate children's books. I quite enjoyed this movie. I am not a fan of Renee Zellweger, but she does a wonderful job here. I am enchanted.
It gives me courage to continue to try my hand at writing and illustrating.
Any childhood memories you have that I could incorporate into a book would be most happily accepted.
Also any hints on how to publish, without it costing the price of my house, is appreciated
