We have been having the most fabulous rain storm for the past couple of days. It is very rare here in the desert, so even though I have been freezing, I have kept the windows open so I can hear it and smell it. Every time it rains I begin to hear this song in my head that we sang in a CASU concert on 12 October 2007.
Before we start singing, the director says, "Its going to rain"
He is a weatherman for KUTV Channel 2 in Salt Lake.
Before I got the little Flip Video for Sailor for Christmas, he used my little Canon Power Shot A95. It only takes a 3 minute video, so you have to click on both to hear the whole song.
I have searched all over the Internet to find this song to download. Someone said the Mormon Youth Chorus sang it, but I cannot find it. So this is my only copy and it is one my most favorite songs. I guess I love how it sounds like the choir is actually singing a rain storm. Starting out dripping then faster, then a deluge of lots of rain drops and finally as the storm moves on, it ends with some dripping again. I love the rain, and I love this song.
So even though this concert was way last October, my head still sings this song, so I thought I might as well write a post about it.
