Some have Stars upon thars
I need your opinion. Cute girl has elected to have a sash instead of a cummerbund. This thrills me because it is much easier to make. My question is this: "Which sash tail looks best?" The sash is 12" wide and gathered around the waist. If I fold it in half and sew a point, like the one on the left, the sash turns into a 6" width. If I leave it folded out and make a long point from one side to the other like the right side, it makes it look shear.
You notice the stars embroidery on her shoulder. She will have stars on the tails of the the sash and some on the front on the skirt. The ones on the front and the sash are made of this cool thread that is white, but turns green in the sunlight.
The dress we were copying had roses, we have changed it to stars. She will have a star necklace and sequins.
She is such a cute individual. We love her.
Let me know what you think. I need some other eyes looking and telling me.
PS the sleeve is now designed and will be sewn next. Then the embroidery. . .

Oh and the bow doesn't look that thick, I bunched some of the fabric up there so it looks like the tail only reaches the hem. When I do the actual sash, I have cut some off.
